Easing out of lockdown events

Fed up with being stuck in the house with no regular social activities because of lockdown?
Now that lockdown is being eased, we thought we would bring together listings of local events suitable for older people, where the organisers have assured us that appropriate safety precautions are in place to safeguard against the spread of coronavirus.
These events are at the Linskill Centre in North Shields:
engAGE Monthly Film Club have a new title on the 1st Wednesday of the month. The next screening will be JUDY starring Renee Zellweger on Wednesday 2nd September AND Wednesday 9th September at 1pm. Running time 2 hours. Seats are limited and booking is essential.
Tickets are FREE but must be booked in advance either via Eventbrite or contacting Charly on 0191 257 8000 or charlotte@linkskill.org

engAGE Page Turners Monthly Book Group meet on the last Tuesday of the month and are looking for new members. Next date Tuesday 29th September 1pm to 2 pm. Places are limited and must be booked in advance, either via Eventbrite or by contacting Charly on 0191 257 8000 or charlotte@linkskill.org. There is a £1.50 charge and the books are provided by North Tyneside Libraries. View a flyer
