Tynemouth Outdoor Pool is one of the biggest community driven regeneration projects the UK has ever seen.
It's an idea that has already captured the passion and imagination of thousands and an enormously exciting plan that will transform an incredible eyesore at the end of one of the country's favourite beaches into a modern, safe, usable and internationally significant leisure facility.
The Friends of Outdoor Pool have been working diligently to satisfy conditions required for planning.
Obtaining a seemingly exhaustive breadth of surveys and reports necessary to ensure that the restoration is sustainable, environmentally friendly and viable.
