Living Memories

We have created an online archive of memories from people who spent their childhood, working life, or retirement in Dorset.

Spanning a time frame from the beginning of the 20th Century to the present day, these living memories are illustrated with photographs of the county and its people, that have never been seen before.

This two year project ended in November 2011, and was a wonderful opportunity to make a comprehensive record of the recent social history of our county - not written by historians, but by everyday folk.
