Celebrating our volunteers

Our volunteers make a huge contribution to our work in the community of North Craven and we hold a big celebration every year to thank them for the work they do to support us.

What our volunteers do

• Help our charity shop to run smoothly and provide much needed income for our services
• Drive older people safely and smoothly to their vital healthcare appointments, including waiting for them till they are done and dropping them home again.
• Make sure older people have great days out by driving our minibus to lots of great locations throughout the year.
• Befriending older people in the community and providing them with company.
• Helping us to run a wide variety of fun clubs and activities in North Craven.
• Offering consistent and vital support to people after a hospital stay.
