Age UK North Craven wants to say thank you, to its volunteers. You are all amazing!
But we love to welcome new volunteers as well and there are many volunteer roles to choose from such as helping in the shops, digital inclusion, driving minibuses, catch up calls, or helping with the admin to name a few.

Catch Up Calls
Our telephone catch up volunteers provide a regular telephone call to older people who enjoy a friendly chat. The calls are usually weekly, from either your own home or from our offices. You need to enjoy sharing experiences and offering a supportive listening ear.

MONDAY LUNCH CLUB
Would you like to join our friendly team of volunteers at our Monday lunch group at the Royal Oak in Settle. We are looking for someone who likes to socialise and make friends and has a couple of hours to spare on a Monday once or twice a month or more if you can. If so we would love to hear from you.

COURIER
As a volunteer courier you will be supporting the minibus drivers and customers who use our trasnport services, helping them to get to where they need to go

CAR DRIVER
Using your own car, you'll provide essential door-to-door transport for older people who have difficulties using public or other forms of transport.

MINIBUS DRIVER
This role supports our local shuttle service and day trips, helping older people get around and enjoy days out.

Furniture Re-use & Recycle Volunteer
To work alongside the retail team to prepare / repair donated goods for sale in our shop.

Retail Assistant Furniture Shop Volunteer
To work as part of the retail team to promote sale of donated goods through our shop.
