  • Digital Drop In

    A weekly support session to help with the use of your computer, tablet, mobile or any apps you need help with.

    We are available to help with any digital difficulties you may have such as setting up and using the NHS App.
    Find us each week at “The Place” in Settle on Mondays between 12:00pm - 2:00pm

  • Bingo

    A fun and enjoyable bingo session held every Tuesday from 1.30 to 3.00pm at Limestone View.

    Everyone is welcome £2.50 per person, come and join us.

  • Monday Lunch Group

    Held at Wyn's at Limestone View, every Monday apart from bank holidays. We meet at 11.30 am to dine at midday. The cost s £10.50 for a hearty two course meal with hot drinks.  We are a very sociable group, so please come and join us, if yiu woukd like more details please ring us on 01729 823066.

  • Coffee and Chat

    • Where: The Place, Settle (Opposite the Ruchee)
    • When: Every Wednesday 10.30am – 12.00 midday

     A chance to meet up with friends old and new and participate in a range of activities including quizzes, board games, and dominoes to name but a few, where the emphasis is on fun and socialising.

    £2.00 per session to include refreshments.

  • Our Allotment

    We have an Allotment in Dog Meadow, Settle.   

    Please call in on a Wednesday or Friday from 12.30pm to 3pm and pay us a visit.  

    Do a little planting or just for a Chat.

  • Meals on Wheels Bentham and District

    • Do you live in or near Bentham?
    • Do you, or somebody you know, have difficulty preparing meals?
    • Are you, or do you know someone who is housebound?
    • Do you enjoy good, wholesome, freshly prepared food?

    If you do and would like to use the meals on wheels service,  please ask your GP or nurse to make a referral for you. Meals are delivered on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

  • Settle Library Book Group

    The book group meets every 4th Tuesday at 2pm except during December at Settle Library. Everyone welcome.

  • Post Cancer Peer Support

    The Settle cancer support group is open to anyone who has been affected by cancer, whether that is you, a family member or friend.  The group is held at:

    The Place Settle on the fourth Monday of the month from 10.30 -11.45 am, except for bank holidays. 

    This is a peer support group and not run by professionals, although we do hope to have health professional guest speakers at some of the meetings.

    We are also looking for volunteers who can assist with the group, full training will be provided by Well Together.

  • Menopause Matters

    Settle & North Craven Menopause Matters group

    Wednesdays Monthly 6.30pm to 8.30pm

    Come and join our friendly volunteer led support group and connect with other people who are experiencing the symptoms of menopause. Refreshments available

    A safe and supportive place where everybody is welcome. They offer light refreshments and a listening ear. Every Tuesday at The Place, Settle from 1.30 – 3.30

    A Community Wellness Centre

    The Place in Settle is a charity, set up to help local residents live healthier and happier lives by offering information and advice, and a space for wellness services including:

    • Volunteering opportunities
    • Free public-access computer

There is also a network of other clubs in Horton in Ribblesdale, Ingleton, Langcliffe, Long Preston, Rathmell and Malham providing company, friendship and fun activities for older people who live in those areas and surrounding villages.
