Toenail Cutting Service Worker
Location: in all areas of Northamptonshire
We especially wish to recruit in Daventry and South Northants
Rate of pay: £11.69 per hour
Hours of work are flexible
About the role
Our staff visit clients at home to provide a basic toenail cutting service. We aim to provide a personal service, regardless of age or ability, in a safe environment that will enhance a person's mobility and comfort. You will visit clients by pre-arranged appointment, providing an ongoing service, having first undertaken an initial assessment.
We are particularly looking for people in and around Corby and Kettering.
About you
You will have experience of working with older people and be dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of the service, developing and maintaining effective relationships with your clients, and building their trust. You must be able to maintain confidential information and have a professional, caring approach at all times.
Our Toenail Cutting Service Workers come from a variety of backgrounds but all of them enjoy meeting their clients and getting job satisfaction from making a positive difference. Perhaps you have a background in hairdressing and would like a change of career. Maybe you have always worked in an office but would like to spend your working time out in the community. We can help you use your people-skills and professionalism to provide a reliable service that improves older people's wellbeing.
Some of our Toenail Cutting Service Workers have three or four clients in total, some work nearly full-time hours with more clients. We prefer our staff to take on clients in their local area so that they are not spending a lot of time travelling to and from appointments, but own transport is essential for this post.
Please call Lynsey Jenkins on 01604 210585 for more information or an informal chat about these posts. We want you to get the best out of working with us so that we can provide an excellent service to our clients.
What do our workers say about the job?
"I like meeting new people."
"Helping someone who needs help is rewarding and it makes them feel better."
"I like the social contact (for the client and me!)."
