Rate of pay:  £19,669 pa (FTE £29,110.31 pa)

Hours of work:  25 hours per week

SPRING is a partnership of social sector organisations, commissioned by Northamptonshire Health & Care Partnership, to improve the wellbeing of people in Northamptonshire using Social Prescribing.

We take a person-centred approach and a holistic view towards wellbeing. Our goal is to help people to take a leap forward in managing their wellbeing and long-term health conditions.

About the role

Social prescribing empowers people to take control of their health and wellbeing through referral to SPRING Link Workers who take a holistic approach to an individual’s health and well-being.  SPRING connects people to diverse community groups and statutory services for practical and emotional support.  The SPRING Community Lead will develop and promote activities for clients of SPRING services.

You will take a leading role in developing and promoting new community groups, working collaboratively with local diverse partners.  You will recruit, select and train volunteers so that their involvement is positive, effective and empowering.

You will be expected to promote positive relationships with our partners and stakeholders: adult social care, hospitals, GPs and other organisations that support older people in the county.

About you

You must have experience of managing and working in a team and also be able to work proactively on your own initiative.  We are looking for someone with excellent verbal communication skills and  the ability to liaise with other professionals.
