Home Store Deputy Manager
Location: 12 High Street, Higham Ferrers NN10 8PA
Rate of pay: £11.69 per hour
Hours of work: Sunday 9am to 4pm
About the role
Our nine shops in Northamptonshire play a vital role in raising funds that support our work throughout the county. Every penny helps to improve later life for people in Northamptonshire. We need to recruit a reliable, trustworthy person to help the Shop Manager in the running of our Home Store in Higham Ferrers. You will work with the Manager in recruiting, training, supporting and supervising a team of volunteers and will also share responsibility for stock control and stocktaking.
About you
We are looking for someone with a good standard of education and who is computer literate. Experience of working in retail is not essential, but you should have a passion for high street retail and excellent merchandising skills. Experience of maintaining cash and general banking is not essential but you must have a good level of numeracy and literacy. Bring your passion for providing good customer service and enjoy working with our small, friendly team, knowing that you are helping to make a difference to older people in our community.
You will need a level of fitness to suit the manual handling demands of the role.
