Domestic Care Worker (zero-hour contract)
Location: We need workers in all areas of Northamptonshire
Rate of pay: £13.36 per hour
Hours of work are flexible: part-time, Monday to Friday
About the role
Our Domestic Care Workers undertake a range of cleaning tasks according to the needs and wishes of our clients. This can involve washing floors and other surfaces, cleaning kitchen, bathrooms and toilets, vacuuming and dusting living rooms, bedrooms and hallways. You may also be asked to do small amounts of washing and ironing, maybe change bed linen and collect light shopping from the nearest local shop.
No personal care is involved.
About you
We need reliable, caring people who can work part-time hours to provide a service to older people that will enable them to enjoy living independently in their own homes. You might have a background in care work but no longer wish to work weekends or evening shifts. Perhaps you just want a change of career where you can get more job satisfaction, knowing that you are helping older people. If you have children at school you can fit your appointments around school hours, for example. Perhaps you have always worked in an office and would now prefer to be more active and not stuck in one building all day.
Some of our Domestic Care Workers have three or four clients in total, some work nearly full-time hours with more clients. We prefer our staff to take on clients in their local area so that they are not spending a lot of time travelling to and from appointments. Own transport is desirable.
Please call Debbie O'Sullivan or David Haynes on 01604 611211 for more information or an informal chat about this post. We want you to get the best out of working with us so that we can provide an excellent service to our clients.
