Location:   Waterside House in Irthlingborough and The Wiliam and Patricia Venton Centre in Northampton

Rate of pay:  £27,532 per annum full-time equivalent (post April 2025, full time - 37 hours per week)

Hours of work:  30 hours per week

About the role

We need a caring, well-organised person to play a pivotal role in our new bereavement service, the Bereavement Community.  You will be responsible for initially supporting the Lead Counsellor, setting up and managing the administrative functions of the Bereavement Community – enquiries, groups, volunteers and counselling, booking counselling sessions and assisting with the smooth running of the whole service. 

About you

You must have empathy for older, vulnerable people and have excellent interpersonal skills.  You will be the first point of contact for clients, counsellors and referrers, via telephone, email and in person.
