Donation station in Thrapston

We are grateful to Myton Food Group (Morrisons Manufacturing Division) for hosting one of our “donations stations” at each of their depots in Thrapston and Rushden.

Helen Elliott, the company’s Community Champion for Rushden and Thrapston [pictured at the depot in Haldens Parkway], was the driving force behind the joint venture and says “It’s a subject that’s very close to my heart. I wanted to do something to support the elderly in our community. Making it easy for our colleagues to donate their items to Age UK Northamptonshire’s shops is a ‘quick fix’ that will help many local people.”

Several other companies in Northamptonshire have kindly sited a donation station where their employees can donate their unwanted saleable items to us, including Kier Group plc and Alimac Group UK Ltd in Rushden.  Get in touch with us on 01604 611200 if you are interested in having one at your company or send an email.

Please note, these donation stations are not open to the general public.  If you have any items you'd like to donate please take them to one of our nine shops.
