NSMBA Random fundraiser

The NSMBA raised a mighty total for us in Harrold

We are thrilled to thank the Northamptonshire Short Mat Bowls Association for their support.  Club Chairman Brian Nelson tells us "We had lots of fun playing our Random Short Mat Bowls competition to raise money for Age UK Northamptonshire.  It was on Sunday 20th August at Bridgman Bowls Club in Harrold.  Each player pays to enter and there was also a raffle so the combined sum raised was £235.

"We are very pleased to donate the profits from the match towards any future help you can give to older people in the Northamptonshire area.  Your work is appreciated and of great benefit to many people."

Club Treasurer Brenda Hart adds "Fifty three people enjoyed a very competitive day on Sunday whilst the England ladies were playing football.  As we are mostly of mature ages we appreciate the valuable work that you do.  So hopefully this donation will enable you to provide the various services that are needed by the community."
