Every penny will make a difference
The suppport of local businesses is particularly appreciated during these unprecedented times. As a local independent charity we need to generate our own income and rely on donations from people living and working in Northamptonshire. We are absolutely thrilled that Waitrose & Partners Wootton branch chose us as one of the local good causes to benefit from their Community Matters scheme during the early months of the coronavirus crisis.
Business Development Manager Jo Bird was delighted to visit the Wootton branch to accept a cheque for £333 from Diane and her colleagues. The donation will be spent on providing support to some of the most vulnerable older people in our community. Without this kind of donation we would not be able to provide our free Information & Advice Service which helps thousands of older people every year, for example. We are very grateful, thank you Waitrose & Partners.
