Northamptonshire Short Mat Bowls Association's tournament raises vital funds

Active Ageing Co-ordinator Ken Nokes was delighted to present the prizes at the Earl Spencer Memorial Charity Day in Paulerspury on Thursday 31st October.  The NSMBA event, including raffle, raised a much-appreciated £450 for Age UK Northamptonshire.  This is "a great amount" - every donation helps us help local older people.

First prize was won by a team from Great Houghton with runners up from Paulerspury, and Moreton Pinkney in third place.

Thank you to everyone who supported the event, including Paulerspury Parish Council for the hire of their lovely village hall.  This annual event has been raising funds for Age UK Northamptonshire for several years and we look forward to seeing you all again in 2020!
