Beside the sea at the Venton Centre

The last weekend in August is Seaside Week at The Venton Centre in Northampton

Vicky Denney and her team dressed up in seaside costumes and handed out candy floss and ice lollies to stir up happy memories for our clients.  It was also an excuse for everyone to act a bit silly and have some fun.

All sorts of seaside-themed activities were laid on, such as a "Pin the tail on the Donkey" board, a paddling pool of plastic ducks and even a special seaside food stall.

Beach games, toys and fun food always make people smile and encourage them to talk about happy childhood memories and events from their lives that they look back on fondly.
