The Big Knit 2025

The Big Knit is back, and we need your help! Join Age UK Mid Mersey and Innocent Drinks in a nationwide campaign to support older people in our community by knitting or crocheting little hats for smoothie bottles. For every be-hatted smoothie sold, Innocent donates 25p to Age UK, helping us provide vital services and support to older people across Halton, St Helens, Knowsley, and Warrington.

How You Can Get Involved

🧶 Knit or Crochet – Get creative and craft as many little hats as you can. Whether you're a knitting pro or a beginner, every hat makes a difference! 

📥 Send Them In – Drop off or post your completed hats to one of our Age UK Mid Mersey offices 

🎉 Support the Cause – Tell your friends, family, and knitting groups to join in and spread the word!

Why It Matters

The funds raised through The Big Knit help us provide crucial services for older people facing loneliness or hardship. Your handmade hats not only bring a smile to someone’s face but also contribute to real, lasting support.
