Tea with Your Mp: A Successful event with St Helens MP's Marie Rimmer & David Baines

Age UK Mid Mersey recently hosted a successful "Tea with Your MP" event, bringing together local residents and their Members of Parliament for an open and engaging discussion. The event provided a welcoming space for attendees to share their thoughts, ask questions, and connect with their elected representatives over a cup of tea and scones.

Event Highlights:

Held at The Mansion House in Victoria Park, the event was well attended by local residents, clients, and volunteers, all eager to engage with their MPs and discuss the matters that affect them most.

Marie Rimmer, who has served as Labour MP for St Helens South and Whiston since 2015, and David Baines, newly elected as Labour MP for St Helens North in 2024, both welcomed the chance to hear directly from their constituents and reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the local community.
