Richard Batson

Richard was born and brought up in Peterborough, but has lived in Wimbledon for over 30 years. He joined the Board of Age UK Merton in November 2021.

Now retired, Richard’s professional life was spent in communications, working for a variety of public and private sector organisations, including British Gas and Ofsted.

Richard specialised in internal communications and his final role before retirement was at the law firm Allen & Overy, where he was responsible for advising the executive team and communicating with partners and staff globally.
