Brian Dillon (Treasurer)

Brian is a retired public sector accountant. His career focused on the local government and social housing sectors, with a number of years in businesses providing services to the public sector. His specialist areas in the latter part of his career were strategic business planning and financial management and accounting. Since retiring, Brian has used that base of extensive practical experience in his voluntary work. 

Brian has been a Board Member of private service companies and was Chair of Croydon Churches Housing Association from 2000 to 2013.

Brian joined the Age UK Merton Board in November 2020. He is Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee. Brian was formerly the Chair of Merton Connected, the Independent Chair of Healthwatch Merton and a member of Merton Council’s Health and Wellbeing Board.

Brian has been a resident of Merton for 20 years
