It Matters To Natter
Published on 31 July 2018 10:20 AM
World Friendship Day is the day that the West Kent Befriending Service is asking everyone to take a pledge to speak to at least one person that they would not usually speak to. This could be a neighbour, a work colleague, someone you see everyday on a journey or someone standing in a queue. By taking this pledge, you’ll be supporting the lonely and socially isolated older people in your local community.
Do you own a local business?
Why not get your team to take the pledge and get nattering too.
Pledge a Donation
Along with your pledge, why not make a small donation too. Any donation will be greatly appreciated as this will help us to continue to deliver the much needed befriending service to the older people in our own community.
Donate today by visiting - - -> www.totalgiving.co.uk/mypage/itmatterstonatter
Every £1 donated will go towards supporting lonely or socially isolated people in Maidstone
We’d love to hear all about how you are supporting ‘It Matters to Natter’ this Monday 30th July. Share your comments and pictures with The West Kent Befriending Service using the link above, so we can see what fantastic ways you’ve been nattering.
