We all know it's hard being a private renter in London nowadays. But did you know that "Generation Rent" includes more and more older people?
Age UK London has been investigating the views and needs of London's growing number of older renters. On 9 October we will be presenting our findings and recommendations at Coin Street Conference Centre, 108 Stamford Street, London, SE1 9NH from 10:30 to 16:00. Book your place now.
We will then discuss our findings with representatives of the Mayor and key organisations in London. It should be of interest to private sector tenants and anyone concerned with ageing in London, from a personal or professional viewpoint.
Speakers and panellists include Leigh Pearce, Chief Executive, the Nationwide Foundation, Sian Berry AM, Chair of the London Assembly's Housing Committee (invited), representatives of the Greater London Authority (GLA) and London Councils and representatives of organisations working with tenants and older people.
Please come along, tell us what you think and help start to make London better for older tenants! Book your place here.
A light lunch will be available.
