Roundelay at Southwark Playhouse

Following on from the sell-out success of Who Do We Think We Are? in 2014, Visible presents Roundelay, a production inspired by the scandalous classic play La Ronde/ Reigen.
Roundelay is a new play by Sonja Linden and Visible which explores love, sex and relationships in older age through a fantabulous conglomeration of circus, dance and music. The production also has a very interesting line-up of post-show provocations that engage with academics, professionals and creatives around issues including age, diversity, sexuality and work.
Roundelay opens at Southwark Playhouse on Thursday February 23rd and will run until Saturday March 18th.
Visible is a new theatre company that celebrates and transcends age. They work with older professional actors from diverse cultural backgrounds to create exciting contemporary theatre that both represents and transcends issues of older age.
Their mission is to encourage pluralised perspectives of older age through new writing for a culturally diverse and evolving ensemble. We want to offer emotionally potent, entertaining and high quality theatre for audiences across a wide age spectrum.
