Membership
In order to build and strengthen our contact with the local community, Age UK Lindsey operates a membership scheme.
As an organisation we are committed to having a constructive and meaningful relationship with all our members. We welcome applications from anyone who shares our vision, and who is interested in helping others to love later life.
What are the benefits of membership?
Age UK Lindsey’s Membership scheme offers local independent groups with shared goals the opportunity to take an active role in our charity or you can join as an individual.
You get the following benefits:
Exercise your voting rights at our AGM in person or by post
Participate on issues affecting older people through invitations to attend forums and focus groups
Receive a newsletter, which includes articles such as information and advice related to older people, quizzes, recipes, stories, diary dates and more
Receive early notification of events such as our Summer Festival
Receive early notification of any special promotions or offers
What else do I have to do as a member?
All we ask you to do is:
Assist Age UK Lindsey in seeking the views of older people by taking part in surveys on relevant issues
Be involved in helping us to improve the lives of older people in East and West Lindsey by supporitng our charity and letting everyone know about us
Excercise your voting rights by attending our AGM
What does it cost?
Individual Membership costs £20, Joint Membership costs £30 and Group Membership costs £40
