Age UK Lindsey's thinking of you!

More than 100 'Thinking of You' bags have been delivered to vulnerable older people across East and West Lindsey – full of goodies donated by local organisations, businesses and the community, including Pipers Crisps and Mortons Media Group.

The charity’s Chief Executive Officer Andy Storer is amongst employees, volunteers and supporters who have travelled around Lincolnshire dropping off the packages – showing united support for the area’s older community. The bags initiative, which is led by Project Manager Liz Brooks, forms part of our Keep Connected Service, which was launched as a direct response to the coronavirus crisis, to ensure that older people were not left isolated or without help during the pandemic.

The deliveries also coincided with The Great Get Together - the annual event to commemorate the life of Jo Cox MP. This year's focus was 'to celebrate the power of community', and show how much the community has pulled together over the past few months.
