Age UK Lincoln & South Lincolnshire is an inclusive and innovative organisation that listens to our employees and clients to ensure they feel valued, respected and recognised. We believe that our uniqueness in our care provision sets us apart, offering and outstanding service to older people in our community.

Community carers play a pivotal role in helping older people to live independently in their own home through the delivery of a tailored package of care. The client is at the heart of everything we do, supporting them with tasks such as:

  • Personal hygiene
  • Medication

  • Companionship

We offer our clients as much or as little support as they need, treating them with dignity and respect.

A driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential as travel time is built into your shift. We pay 45p per mile up to 10,000 miles.

Our full-time community carers (35-hour contract) are paid a salary of £21,310 per annum with the opportunity to work extra hours during peak periods.

All employees have access to our generous employee assistance programme (provided by Bupa) a Blue Light card and other charity worker discounts and savings in many restaurants, retailers and events venues.
