What is a Responder?
As a Responder, no two days are the same. With a multitude of tasks to keep you busy, supporting clients with different needs, every day will come with its challenges, but more so an abundance of job satisfaction and the feeling that you’ve ‘made a difference.’
Your day might start with preparing breakfast for a client, following some assistance with personal care. You may be supporting them with their medication, or be that one person they look forward to seeing each day, aiding their recovery at home. In between your care calls, you might be needed to respond to a lifeline call, assisting someone experiencing distress.
Together with our partners, we enable older people to safely remain at home, in order to prevent hospital admissions, but also to bridge the gap in care and avoid unnecessary hospital stays.
We’re looking for vibrant and enthusiastic employees working across 7 days, with two full days off each week for full time contracts and three full days off for part time contracts.
We pay 45p per mile up to 10,000 miles as a driving licence and access to your own car is essential to meet the needs of the service.
The expansion of the contract is scheduled to last until 31st March 2025.
