Forever Young Success

Our Forever Young Over 50s Disco has taken Lincoln by storm, with two successful events already held this year. Hosted at the popular Lincoln nightclub, Home, this event offers a unique experience for those aged 50 and over, combining lively music, a full bar, dancing, and socialising in a fun and safe environment. The overwhelming success of these events has now paved the way for a festive Christmas edition, scheduled for December 7th 2024.

In addition, by attending our Forever Young events, attendees can also feel good about contributing to a meaningful cause. Proceeds from ticket sales directly support our vital services, helping us continue to offer valuable support and resources to our local older community.

The inaugural Forever Young Disco took place on Thursday 16th May 2024, serving as a launch event that immediately resonated with local people aged 50+. From 3pm to 7pm, attendees enjoyed an afternoon filled with classic hits, disco lights, plenty of dancing, cocktails, and, as a special extra to celebrate the launch event, a pizza buffet thanks to our generous neighbours at Carousel.

The concept of an early evening event, allowing everyone to be home before dark, was particularly well-received, offering a night-out experience that doesn't end in a late-night taxi queue! 

Building on the success of May's event, a Summer edition was held on Saturday August 10th 2024, attracting even more participants. The sunny weather and a fantastic selection of summery tunes created a vibrant atmosphere that had everyone on the dance floor. The positive feedback and growing popularity of these events have solidified 'Forever Young' as a staple on Lincoln's social calendar for local people aged 50+.

Due to the enthusiastic response from attendees, we are excited to announce a Christmas edition of Forever Young, set to take place this December 7th. This festive version promises to be the best yet, with a Christmas-themed playlist, seasonal decorations, and perhaps even a surprise visit from Santa...?

This time, the event will run from 1pm-4pm, allowing guests to revel in the festive spirit while still getting home before dark.

The Forever Young Over 50s Disco at Home Nightclub has proven to be more than just a night out; it's a celebration of life, community, and that the joy of dancing and music is ageless. We look forward to welcoming both new and returning guests in December for what is sure to be an unforgettable Christmas celebration.
