Feeling Thrifty!

Saturday 13th April 2024 saw our very first community second hand sale event: Feeling Thrifty! 

For just £10, our supporters were able to hire a table for the day to sell their second hand items, with shoppers paying £2 entry to come and find a bargain.

Sellers arrived early to Park Street Activity Centre hall to set up their tables and lay out their items enticingly. By the 10am opening time, we had 18 tables heaving with good quality items, ranging from designer clothing, to antiques, and a fab range of Pokemon cards! 

Our wonderful Eatery volunteers came in especially to serve refreshments to our sellers and customers in the form of hot drinks, soft drinks and cakes. 

All in all, an incredible £571 was raised for Age UK Lincoln & South Lincolnshire! We'd like to thank all of the volunteers who came along to help the day run smoothly, and to all sellers and customers who made the day such a success. Thank you!
