We have specialist day clubs to support people's individual needs and abilities including people living with dementia, mobility and personal care needs, mental health and learning disabilities.
Choosing care for a loved one is not always easy, with a host of considerations as well as the practicalities of cost and affordability. This is why our Day Clubs are such a valued option to the hundreds of older people who use our Clubs each week.
Carers regularly comment on the valued respite time they gain from having their loved one cared for, providing them with the opportunity to get jobs done, attend appointments and time to look after their own needs.
Why choose a Day Club?
Day Clubs provide a safe source of daytime support and care for a loved one in a welcoming and homely environment, using trained and vetted staff. Our clubs offer social connection and all the personalised support your loved one needs to enjoy their day, including a daily hot lunch to save time cooking an evening meal at home.
Day Clubs are a great option for carers needing support from one to five days a week which can hold off more costly forms of care. For example, the average weekly cost of residential care is £1,160* per week, rising to around £1,410* per week for a care home placement. Our Day Clubs are competitively priced against other day care services and cost considerably less than residential/ care homes, providing a saving of around £800 - £1,060 every week in comparison. Therefore, using our Day Clubs is a good alternative, giving you peace of mind and keeping more costly care at bay.
Cut costs not care
Over the course of a year, large residential and care home fees can soon eat into hard earned savings and reduce funds for the nicer things in life such as family meals, outings or treating grandchildren. Knowing you are leaving an inheritance for your children/ grandchildren can be a source of great comfort and joy. That’s why choosing our Day Clubs is a worthwhile investment as it provides you with the assurance of high quality care at an affordable price, leaving you with funds for more of life’s enjoyable pleasures.
