Our friendly companions offer company, friendship and the support to enable you to do the things you enjoy.

What is a companion?

Spending regular time with a companion can help boost self-esteem, regain confidence and promote independence, whilst providing the opportunity to get out and about to pursue interests, hobbies or just have a chat over coffee.

Our companionship service can give you the chance to share your experiences and to enjoy making new ones too.

What does a companion offer?

Whilst offering a friendly face and trusted support, our companions enable you or your loved one to:

- Have someone to socialise and spend time with
- Someone to talk to and share life with
- Stay active and get out of the house
- Pursue hobbies and interests, such as attend events, go to the cinema or places you enjoy
- Connect with others such as attend a religious place of worship, clubs or groups
- Attend appointments, arrange transportation and other care needs
- All our companions are hand-picked and matched, so that friendships can be formed around shared interests and experiences, making time together enjoyable and something to look forward to.

What is the difference between a companion and a personal assistant?

A personal assistant offers support with tasks such as household management, domestic tasks and arranging support. A companion can support with these things but their primary purpose is to provide friendship and facilitate activity.

Where a person has care needs requiring more intensive support, our respite care service can offer carers a break, enabling them to have time for themselves or go out, whilst knowing their loved one is being well looked after.

Prices start from £21.80 per hour.

Our trained staff have the right skills, personal qualities and experience to offer care and support to suit you. This means that you decide what the priorities are, what you’d like to do, and how the time is spent.

We offer support every day of the year and can provide male, female and multi-lingual companions. We provide a quality service which is CQC registered and our friendly companions have undergone enhanced DBS checks and full training.
