Are you looking for a career in retail, then look no further. We have a great opportunity for a Deputy Manager to join our Melton Mowbray Shop.

You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Charity Shops ensuring exceptional customer service, and sales results are delivered. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering an exceptional retail experience.

Duties:

  • Whilst providing cover, and supporting the retail manager
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and meet revenue targets
  • Train and mentor volunteers to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with other managers
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Collaborate with marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and initiatives

Experience:

  • Proven experience in retail management or a similar role
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire individual's
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in retail management software systems
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Knowledge of phone etiquette and administrative tasks
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
