We are currently seeking a Driver to join our friendly and dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting older people to designated locations.

Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of a Casual Minibus Driver are:

  • Collecting Service Users from their homes to the Day Clubs and return them safely in the afternoon
  • Assisting Service Users to enter and vacate the minibus, ensuring their safety and physical needs are fully met.
  • To help ensure the minibus is maintained through completion of daily checks, refuelling, vehicle cleanliness and reporting of maintenance and repair issues to the manager

Skills & Requirements:

  • Proven experience of driving a minibus or similar vehicle
  • Assisting passengers’ ability to follow health & safety requirements
  • A caring and compassionate nature, being pleasant and approachable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexible approach
  • Work as part of a team with a hands-on-approach
  • Good IT Skills
  • Valid driver’s license (with appropriate endorsement for driving a mini bus) D1 with a clean driving record
  • Maintenance and ensuring the vehicle is in good condition through regular checks and cleaning
