Befriending Project Worker

We’re looking for a Project Worker to provide crucial administrative support to our Befriending team across Leicester and Leicestershire. This role plays a vital part in helping older people experiencing loneliness and isolation by fostering social connections and improving their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Befriending team
- Manage and coordinate client and volunteer records
- Assist with scheduling and organizing meetings and activities
- Help maintain up-to-date systems and databases
- Communicate with clients, volunteers, and external partners to ensure smooth operations
- Provide accurate and factual data reporting
- Promote the service through social media platforms
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has a compassionate, empathetic approach when working with older people
- Works well in a team environment
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses strong administrative skills
