Part-time (15 hours per week)

Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland have a fantastic job opportunity to work with carers over the age of 18 living in the city of Leicester.

So many carers need support, information, guidance and to be listened to too. The responsibilities carers have are sometimes overlooked and often unpaid. This is where you will step in and help carers either on a 1-1 basis or in a group setting.

The role offers amazing rewards, by helping such committed individuals, but also great training for you, as a charity training is important along with keeping up to date with policy and procedures.

This is a position whereby you will engage with local communities, deliver presentations, identify those carers who are also vulnerable by offering opportunities to take time off and promote their physical and emotional wellbeing.

You will also work with a team of volunteers delivering robust training and providing ongoing support.

Hours:                       15 hours per week  

Salary:                       £10,465.00 per annum    

Base:                         46 Humberstone Gate, Leicester, LE1 3PJ
