Location & Base:    Countywide and based at one of Age UK Lancashire offices

Salary:                     £24,000 FTE

Hours:                    35 hrs per week, flexible working available. 28hrs could be considered for the right candidate

Age UK Lancashire develops and delivers services for older people across Lancashire, Southport and Blackpool.

We offer person-centred, quality-assured information, advice and signposting amongst a variety of other services to support older people to remain independent and we are looking for an experienced adviser to join our team. Timely information, advice and access to services when needed is essential for older people to retain their independence in later life, particularly as many are facing cost of living difficulties.

We are seeking an innovative, self-motivated candidate who will work in the community as part of our passionate Information and Advice team, targeted with increasing financial resilience and independence for our clients.

The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate experience of person-centred needs-led approach to service delivery and the ability to offer a non-judgemental approach to informing appropriate support measures, to ensure we offer an over-arching holistic service to older people.

This is a hugely rewarding role for the right person and you would be joining the organisation at an exciting time whilst we are investing in our advice service to extend our reach across the county supporting older people to improve their overall independence and wellbeing.
