Winter Appeal Success: Hundreds of Older People in Lancashire to Benefit

The people of Lancashire have gifted over 1,000 calls to our Winter Appeal resulting in a remarkable total of £3,033 in donations, with more still pouring in.

As our Winter Appeal concludes, we want to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who has played a part in supporting our crucial appeal.

Whether you made a direct donation to our crowdfunder, dropped spare change into our collection buckets, or shared our appeal on social media, your kindness is really appreciated. Every gesture, big or small, has contributed to the success of our Winter Appeal.

The money you have helped us raise will go toward supporting our Information Helpline during the remaining winter months as we anticipate a 50% rise in calls by older people needing our support. On average, each call costs us £3 to answer, illustrating the significant impact that your contributions will have.
