Walton Lane Members Get Creative
Flower Arranging
The members of our Daytime Support Service in Nelson have been getting creative recently with a group of students from UCLAN. Firstly they took part in a flower arranging session using lots of different techniques and creating some amazing bouquets. Most of the members actively got involved and others were just happy to watch and make suggestions. It really was a great session that everyone enjoyed.
Sing–a–long and Poetry
The ‘50 Something Drama Group’ came into the centre to entertain our members and staff with sing-a-long sessions, which really got everyone in high spirits and created a wonderful atmosphere. It was then the members turn to provide the entertainment by reading out their favourite poems to the group. A great afternoon was had by everyone with the members asking “when can they come again”!
