Fashion Show Success!

We are thrilled to share the resounding success of our recent Fashion Show fundraiser event, held on Wednesday 4th October at the picturesque Mitton Hall.
We extend our thanks and gratitude to all who contributed to the event's success raising over £1750 which will go towards our vital work supporting older people who need us in Lancashire.
The vibrant event attracted over 100 people from across Lancashire who came for an evening of fun, to browse local pop-up retailers, enjoy the catwalk show and importantly support our charity to continue our essential work.
The catwalk was hosted by local boutique Willow Tree, who with her volunteer models, showcased their range of stylish clothing and accessories for our guests to purchase. Helen Sharples, the owner of Willow Tree reflects on the evening:
“It’s been fantastic, such a lovely evening. It’s all about raising funds and awareness for Age UK Lancashire.
As we are a reasonably new business, I’ve really enjoyed being around other small local businesses and hope we can do it all again next year.
Thank you. It’s been a really good experience being here with Age UK Lancashire.”
We were delighted to welcome local retailers and show-off all that is great about Lancashire – each contributing to our fabulous and popular raffle! Details of our local retailers can be seen at the bottom of the page.
Sharon Watson, Corporate Fundraising Manager at Age UK Lancashire said:
“It’s been amazing. We’ve had so many wonderful people come to the event and support us tonight.
Nights like tonight take a lot of planning, lots of organisation and a lot of good will but it’s all worth it when you see how much we have raised and how much people have enjoyed themselves.
All the money raised will go toward helping Age UK Lancashire support local older people.”
