The hourly rate will be £27, with a minimum booking of £40.50 for 1.5 hours. The price change is due to a rise in the London Living Wage and National Insurance adjustments, which are driving increases in employment costs. This price adjustment ensures that our staff are fairly compensated for their hard work. We will continue delivering the high-quality, reliable service you expect while ensuring that any profits are reinvested directly into the Homemakers service.

At Age UK Lambeth, we are committed to helping our clients maintain their independence by developing meaningful, life-enriching relationships through our Homemaker service. Our Homemakers go beyond traditional cleaning—they take the time to truly understand your needs and support you in ways that enhance your daily life, whether that’s through light housework, running errands, shopping, or offering companionship.

Our team is fully trained, DBS/reference checked, and equipped with the necessary PPE to provide a safe and friendly service. Please note, we do not offer personal care.

Please be aware that failing to cancel your appointment in advance (at least 48 hours) will incur a cancellation fee.

As a charity dedicated to benefiting residents of Lambeth, we proudly pay our staff the London Living Wage. All profits go directly to supporting our Homemakers and sustaining the essential services we offer.
