Corporate Involvement

We're a very open and flexible partner, and we're happy to design a corporate partnership program that achieves your priorities as well as ours, which is simply creating a world in which older people can thrive. 

A good example of this is our Brixton Brewery partnership, in which we created a bespoke program with our partners that saw a new beer on the market - Generation Pale Ale!  🍻

The sky is really the limit here!  We can work together towards a project that helps your brand and the older people we work hard to support.  

We're a creative bunch and we love coming up with new projects!  If you have an idea in mind don't hesitate to get in touch! 

Do you own or work for a business?  If so, one of the easiest ways to raise money for Age UK Lambeth may be by donating through your business sales. 

To do this we work with our friends at Work for Good, which is a platform that local businesses can register with and select us as their charity to donate to.  

The way it works is your business commits to donating a percentage of the money you make when selling certain products.  You choose which product, how much you want to donate, and a certain amount of time to do it for.  

So for example you may choose to donate 10p on every vanilla ice cream sold in June (yum!)🍦☀️.  Or you may like to donate 10% of all boy's haircuts in February 💇‍♂️.  It's totally up to you! 

When the time period is up you simply work out how much you earned selling those products, and then donate that percentage amount to us.  Simple!  

In return, we can offer you a snazzy window sticker so you can show off how great you are to your customers, and we'll promote you in our social media, newsletters and flyers.

This is a super easy and really effective way for businesses to donate to Age UK Lambeth.

Join one of our London Underground Fundraising days and show off your brand values to hundreds of thousands of Londoners!  🚇🚉

We have numerous charity fundraising days booked at Brixton, Oval and Waterloo Stations where we'll be shaking our buckets and card machines and encouraging people to donate to Age UK Lambeth!

Join us on match day at Oval station, for rush hour at Brixton station or at Waterloo Station to stand side-by-side with our older clients and show Londoners how great your company is.

Choose to match-fund the donations and we can shout about it on the day, or make it a competition between teams to see who can get the most!  

This is free advertising on London Underground - an opportunity not to be missed!

Fundraising as a team can be great fun and can bring the team together for a common cause.  We can support you with your fundraising and will promote it across our socials and newsletters

You could complete a sponsored team or individual event with our partner Run for Charity. 

This could be for staff away or family day and could include fun activities like a bungee jump, an inflatable parks run, kids races or the Santa in the City. 

Or if your team prefer they could complete sponsored challenges individually or as a team like 5ks, 10ks, ultra walks, or even the London Landmarks Half Marathon.  

Equally, you could organise your own events, like a charity ball or a staff bake sale, and we'll work with you every step of the way.  💪

You could fundraise together or compete across teams, and the business could offer to match-donate any funds raised - a nice way to show a commitment to the team! 

We've created a corporate volunteering package that gives your team both meaningful opportunities to volunteer locally and helps to improve their wellbeing and connection to the local community.

We know that staff wellbeing is important to you, and can contribute to your bottom line, but we also know you want to give back to the community and help out as best you can.

That's why we created Corporate Connections.  This is our flagship corporate volunteering program that helps your team volunteer in the community while also building friendships for themselves.

When you join Corporate Connections you buy a number of memberships to our MYSocial program.  This will allow your colleagues to attend a certain number of events each month, and is a great way to build a love for the brand, a connection to the community, and positive wellbeing for oneself! 

Memberships are tiered, and the more you donate the more spaces you get!  We'll attach your landing to the program so all our clients know how awesome you are! 

Your team members are all different and will want to help out with different social events.  That's why we help them pick and choose events based on interest, so they can meet like-minded older people who may become friends.  Nawww.

We're all about friendships and connections at Age UK Lambeth.  Our Corporate Connections program builds on that.  It's like volunteering but with new friends! 🙃

Pay as You Earn donations are a great way for employees to donate to a good cause, and donations aren't taxed - a double win!  

We receive more money than the employee gives due to a government contribution, and it helps us secure regular income, which as a business you know is important! 

You could also offer to match-fund their donations, which helps show how much you care about both them and us! 

This is a nice and easy way to support our charity and show your employees your values all in one! 

There are plenty of ways to help that don't include money.  If you're interested in supporting Age UK Lambeth in another way we'd love to hear from you.  There's no limit to the ways that could work, but to help get the creative juices going a few are listed here just as ideas! 

• Access to equipment - vehicles, media, building equipment etc

• Donating items for prizes or giveaways

• Events, product lines, branding etc

• In-kind or pro-bono support

• Contacts, and networking help

• Mentorship

• Free space

• Specialist skills

We're looking forward to chatting! 😊

• A commitment for a 6 months period
• A befriender visits a client for one hour a week
• Visits are usually in the clients home, but we encourage, where possible for them to get out and about
• A DBS check is required and all volunteers are given training

• Duration: 1 day
• Design and host your own event to offer our MYsocial members
• For example, this could be anything from hosting a cocktail making class, to teaching computer skills, to going bowling! For more ideas, check out their events calendar
• Your event will feature in our marketing materials (newsletter and social media channels) to promote it to our members
• Suitable for groups of 5 to 10 people (depending on the activity)
