Age UK Kent River's Handy Person Service offers a reliable way to take care of odd jobs in your home, for example: putting up shelves, curtain rails and pictures, small carpentry jobs, key safes, changing light bulbs, door chains and window locks. We aim to make it easy for you to remain independent and maintain your home, whilst knowing you will receive a friendly and professional service.

What services can the Handy Person provide?

We can carry out small household repairs, minor adaptions and odd jobs around your home including:

• Fitting handrails and grab rails
• Putting up shelves, curtain rails and pictures
• Small carpentry jobs
• Home security including key safes*, door chains and window locks
• Changing light bulbs
• Small decorating jobs
• Minor repairs

*We supply and fit key safes.
