The Dementia Café is a volunteer-led social event for anyone in Medway living with Dementia or memory concerns, and their carers or family members. The event is held in Sittingbourne and provides a safe place for people to have a chat with likeminded people.

About the Dementia Cafe

The Dementia Café provides a safe space for anyone living with Dementia or memory concerns, and their carers or family members, to socialise and have a cup of tea with someone who understands.

The café runs on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month from 1-3pm, at The Appleyard, Sittingbourne.

Our highly skilled staff can give you information and help signpost you to other available support services.

You can discuss your own dementia diagnosis, or someone else’s, and think about what it means for the future. You can meet and learn from other people in similar situations and keep active, make new friends and feel more confident.
