Dementia & Memory Cafés

We know how difficult it can be to come to terms with a Dementia diagnosis, or to be experiencing memory concerns in general.
That’s why we host regular social events for people living with Dementia or memory problems, and their carers or family members – to provide a safe space where you can access vital information and meet likeminded people.
What are Dementia and Memory Cafes?
Hosted by our volunteer teams, who have their own personal links to Dementia, the Dementia and Memory Cafes provide a safe place for people to chat with others in the same situation, take part in games such as Bingo and quizzes, and gain access to useful information and guidance from guest speakers.
Is there a cost?
Hot drinks and biscuits are provided, and there is no charge to attend, although a small, discretionary donation is appreciated to help us continue to fund future events.
