Age UK Kent Rivers offers wellbeing classes across various locations in Kent, which can help you learn useful tips about how to stay independent and keep yourself strong and mobile - all whilst meeting friendly faces and making new friends.

Walking Sports - Faversham & Sittingbourne
Walking Sports allow people of all ages and abilities the opportunity to find their place in a sport, socialise with others and improve their physical and mental wellbeing. They are the same game, but at a walking pace to make sure it is safe for everyone.

Walking Groups - Gravesend
Our free walking group allows you to meet new people whilst getting active and enjoying fresh air, on a leisurely stroll along the River Thames, returning to the Clarendon Royal Community afterwards to enjoy a free hot drink and sweet treat!

Providing a safe place for people living with Dementia, and their families and carers, to socialise and gain access to useful information.

Coffee Mornings - Faversham
Free weekly Coffee Mornings, aiming to reduce social isolation and loneliness. Meet new people in a safe, supportive environment.

Time to Dine - Gravesend
A monthly dining experience for people living with Dementia or memory loss, and their family and loved ones, hosted in a safe, supportive environment.

Members Day Trips - Medway
Older adults living in Medway can join our Membership Scheme and come along on our organised day and afternoon trips in including pub lunches, trips to the seaside and shopping. Members can also enjoy lunch and booked events at our Medway Social Hub.

Twilight Gears - Medway
Age UK Kent Rivers created the Twilight Gears group to get groups of older people together to work on fixing and renovation donated bikes. Here they can have a good chin-wag, make new friends and do something really great for our charity at the same time.

Carers Relief Service - Various locations in Kent
Carers Relief Service hosts plenty of activities for adults with learning disabilities to get involved in, providing carers with much-needed respite. From discos and club nights, to day trips and group activities - there is something to suit everyone's interests!

Social Hubs - Gillingham, Dartford & Faversham
We operate three Social Hubs which provide a full day of social interaction, a range of events and activities, and a two-course lunch, with the option of transport, for a daily charge. Join us at the Mackenney Day Centre in Gillingham, Meadowside Day Centre in Dartford, or The Fountain in Faversham.

We operate three Dementia Hubs which provide a full day of stimulating activities to anyone living with Dementia or memory concerns, including a two-course lunch, and care provisions & transport if needed. Join us at the Capstone Centre in Chatham, Meadowside Centre in Dartford, or The Old Fire Station in Faversham.
Fundraiser Events
We put the fun into fundraising! Whether it's endurance events where you can put yourself to the test, or a social evening event packed full of entertainment and fun - we have it all.
Clarendon Royal Community
Stay up to date with all of our events and activities at the Clarendon Royal Community in Gravesend! Take part in fun events in the bar including speed quizzes, football games, promotional events such as happy hour, and enjoy regular activities including yoga, zumba and lunch clubs.
