COGS gains a day

Age UK Medway's COGS Club has been a huge success, with more users than ever before we've decided to add an extra day on a Tuesday at our Capstone Day Centre.

This extra day has been put in place to enable Age UK Medway to assist more clients and their families that are living with Dementia in the Medway towns. This extra day will enable both existing and new clients to access the COGS Clubs which is invaluable for it's clients.

One family member of a COGS client had this to say about the improvements her mother had made since attending the COGS Clubs "my Mum has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and Vascular Dementia. Since attending the COGS Club at Capstone, I have noticed that Mum has made some great improvements which have been noticed by the rest of the family. She enjoys coming and looks forward to attending each week, it’s a goal for Mum to spend time with people her own age and share their experiences. Thank you to Gemma and the rest of the staff who look after her and make her day at the club a happy one!"
