Carnival Party 2020

Age UK Kensington and Chelsea are delighted to invite you to our Virtual Carnival Celebration 2020 on Sunday 30th August & Monday 31st August. This event will give local people the chance to come together and celebrate the multiculturalism and the carnival arts and its origins.

You will have two wonderful days with Caribbean cooking lesson, Carnival art & history sessions, dancing and live steelpan performance. It is going to be lots of fun as we are all found ‘in our living rooms’ for Carnival Celebration online!

Sunday 30th August

2pm-3pm  Carnival Vibe (Dance Session) with Zaiah Art

3pm-4pm  Carnival Art Appreciation with Fiona Hawthorne

4pm-5pm   Carnival Music Appreciation with Louise Hottinguer
Monday 31st August 

11am-12pm  Carnival Costumes session with Genesis Masks

12.30pm-1.15pm  African Diaspora (Dance Session) with Dance West 

1pm-2pm  Carnival Cooking session with Pepper Pot

2pm-2.45pm  Create Carnival Mask with Abi

3pm-4.30pm  Carnival Story with Alexander D Great

4pm-4.45pm  Samba (Dance Session) with Dance West

5pm-6pm  Steelband & Dancing with UFO Steelband
