Hospital Discharge Research Report

We have been working on a Dementia Research Project since November 2023. The premise of the research is to find out what it is really like the first few months post-hospital discharge for people living with dementia and their unpaid carers; identifying any gaps in care provision and collating their first-hand experiences. Interviews with participants living with dementia and their unpaid carers began in January 2024. The discussions have been incredibly eye-opening and we would like to thank all those who shared their first-hand and emotive experiences with us as part of this report. We will be publishing a report based on these discussions early summer 2024 with the aim of contributing to making RBKC a more dementia-friendly borough.
