Helping getting online or starting to use email
Age UK Islington can provide information and guidance to help you access a digital device and get online. Whether you need support browsing the internet, using apps such as the NHS App, or setting up and using email, we can help you find the right support. We can also help you explore affordable internet connections and data plans and connect you with groups and courses to build your confidence and digital skills.
One-to-one support from Digital Volunteers
We can connect you to one-to-one Tech, Tea and Biscuits one to one digital support sessions, run by PPCP, so you can get the most from your smartphone or digital device. Friendly, knowledgeable volunteers can help with questions about how to use your device to: join a zoom meeting or activity, make day to day admin easier, connect to wifi, shop online & lots more! Age UK Islington Tech Break online (monthly)
Take part in a regular monthly online group training sessions (join by Zoom). These can help you to get ideas about how you can use your PC, tablet or smartphone and to help build your confidence in using your device. Each session focuses on a different topic.
