Get Togethers & Events
Find a social group or develop a new interest, with Age UK Islington’s regular in-person Get Togethers taking place across the borough. There are also special one-off events every month and online Get Togethers for those people who prefer to join from home and Support Groups. See below. Better Sports Get Together
Tuesdays & Thursdays (Sobell) 10.30am-1pm, Wednesdays (Finsbury) 10.30am - 12.30pm, adults 50 yrs+
Sobell & Finsbury Better Leisure Centres
Run by GLL (£2.60), a relaxed social with the opportunity to play sports e.g. bowls, zumba and have a cuppa!

Wednesdays 11am - 12 noon
Cally Clock Tower Centre, N7
Have a chat and share memories at our weekly social Park Cuppa sessions. There'll be a different topic to inspire discussion, every week.

LEGO Get Together
Thursdays 1 - 3.30pm
The Toy Project, Archway, N7
Join us for a weekly Lego social. It's relaxed, friendly and creative, for adults 50yrs+. Enjoy a chat while you build.

Dance Fitness Get Together
Tuesdays 3 - 4pm
Jean Stokes Community Hall, N1
Try our Dance Fitness class with a mix of latin, disco and pop music. It will include strength, balance and functional exercises. Take part seated or standing.

Park Cuppa Islington Ecology Centre
Third Tuesday of the month, 10.30am
Islington Ecology Centre, Gillespie Park Nature Reserve, N5
Drop-in for a cup of tea and a chat with other Islington locals cosy in the
sanctuary of the ecology centre. Dementia-friendly venue. -
